04Trade-Controls Posture
Dual-use awareness as standing policy
Advanced electronics and technology components can fall within dual-use and export-control frameworks. Coeus screens consignments accordingly and conducts its trade in adherence to the export-control regimes that govern its destination markets: Switzerland, Germany, the United States and Canada.
This is stated as policy and standing practice, not as a representation about any particular transaction. Where a requirement touches controlled categories, it is reviewed before acceptance, and goods that cannot be moved compliantly are not moved.
05Documentation & Traceability
The documentary set
| Document | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Commercial invoice | Establishes the parties, the goods, value and terms of sale for the consignment. |
| Packing list | Itemises contents, quantities, weights and packing for inspection and clearance. |
| Certificate of origin | Evidences the country of origin for tariff treatment and import requirements. |
| Incoterms 2020 reference | Records the agreed term governing cost, risk and responsibility at each leg. |
The set is retained for each consignment so that what moved, from where, and under whose responsibility, can be traced from origin to landed delivery.
