Coeus Trading is a privately held international trading house based in Toronto. It runs one procurement corridor with discipline, and answers for what moves through it.
02The Firm
Access at origin, held to account.
The firm exists for a specific reason. The advanced-electronics market is wide, fast and uneven, and a foreign buyer dealing with it at a distance is rarely shown its true floor. Coeus closes that distance: buying where the goods are made, qualifying what it buys, and carrying responsibility through to delivery.
The work is deliberately narrow. Coeus does not chase breadth across regions or product lines. It runs a single corridor between the Pearl River Delta and four destination markets, and runs it well. Depth in one route is worth more to a serious buyer than a thin presence in many.
What a client engages is not a catalogue. It is access, judgment, and a single party that stands behind the outcome.
03The Name
Coeus: the Titan of intellect and inquiry.
In Greek myth, Coeus is the Titan associated with the inquiring mind: the faculty of asking the right question before acting. The firm takes the name as its principle: sourcing is, before anything else, an exercise in judgment.
The right question, put to a supplier, a price, a route or a document, settles most of what follows. That habit of inquiry, applied steadily to one corridor, is the discipline the firm is built on.
04Principles
Three principles, stated plainly.
Discretion
Engagements are handled in confidence. The firm does not publish client names, transaction detail or sourcing relationships. Discretion is a condition of the work, not a courtesy.
Accountability
One party is answerable from origin to landed delivery. Responsibility is not divided across a chain of intermediaries, and it is not handed off at the border.
Origin access
Standing presence at the manufacturing base is what makes the firm useful. Pricing, availability and quality are read at source, not relayed second-hand.

The firm is incorporated and based in Canada, with a registered office in Toronto. Its operating presence sits at both ends of the corridor: administration and accountability in Toronto, sourcing and quality control at origin in the Pearl River Delta.
